Journey towards the city of bridges

It was friday, when it started...after a week of preparation,docs,reading the location, places to visit, modes of transport....everthing....etc etc ate my working time..though the work was a bit less :) (Thats a different point alltogether). Now lets begin the journey... around 4 PM we left our office towards our home and got ready as soon as possible making final rounds of check of the necessary items ... money,clothes,directions,flights,maps,description etc etc....

Around 6 we left our house ..me subrat and his wife towards our dream journey... Reached initially the Central station, from where we had to catch a bus for the airport...gosh it was 100 ks from the central... The bus left around 7:20 PM and was mowing along the way.. The road that the bus took was deserted and we had a hunch whether we were goin towards the right location...against our odds we reachd the airport around 9 PM.... man first leg done.....so things are happenin...i started to believe that we can do it.....

The worst night started ...the flight actually was next morn 6 AM... and man we are at 9 PM the previous day.... findin not much food....juz one stupid bun with green pathe and some cheese between...i tried to manage myself on the pretext of eatin...half way thru i was done..wht a tragic end to my dinner.....roamin around the airport....very small one...though no proper lounge ....tryin to sleep by all possible ways..nonetheless no sleep...Subrat and his wife pissedd... me too ... we were tryin to force to sleep..the chairs turnd into beds...the tables into pillows..man i was prayin i need some sleep..but things turned out tht u muz wake a bit if u ve to enjoy a bit pleasure..Time started to move at a snail's place....4 AM ....bell rung ... got the boardin tickets ..already half dead...now went to lounge...and waited till 6 AM... still no track of flight...alas around 6 AM flight call....maannn finally sun dawned and we were movin towards the giant bird.... We were in and i started to get some sleep in the flight.... hmm tryin always somethin or other...but i finally managed a 1 hr sleep..when i woke up r eyes we were in frankfurt hahn..... airport... This was a bit better than the stockholm airport..

Now the second leg completed..half dead.....tryin to recover from it...but it was again re forced by another 5 five hrs wait for the next flight....this time since it was day.... wwe managed to stay awake...with in between yawnings...pissings...swearing .......etc.... all words started gushin like ... tere....etc.. etc....finally around 3 PM we got the flight...The flight hovering around alps..we were able to get a glimpse of the white faces peaks of the Alps... the flight ccurving and sun light hittin our eyes we were anxiously waitin for the landin... and there in no time we were in the land of pizzas......i was excited feelin that we had finally made into the city of canals................

Third leg done... we were in the bridged city.....swearin part was done now wanted to enjoy a bit....and i was rather on peak...tryin to put the tiresome wait before... we got the tickets to the city and made it towards it.....on the way i dint find any lagoon or anythin so... i was wonderin were we there at the exact location....We reached the mestre station and there we disembarked in search of our night abode...after a no sleep day....we had the details of reaching the abode and reading the details...like a voyager reading a magnetic needle..towards north pole...we finally reached the place....it was a bit shabby from outside..not so inviting ...soothing myself comforting with pleasant words saying tht the stay was only for a night ...so i thought it was ok... we made way through the door...outside it was abt 10 degree centigrade ..pretty good compared to the current winter days in europe.... We got the room and we were on the look out for it.. Man when we got into it..it had a neat bed and a good bed sheet...and we were comforted with the good inner rooms... Vola now what....

Fourth leg for the day....We nearly starvd up after the journey ...we strtd searchin for a italian pizza restaurant...which we got about half and hour of sickein searchin which was the most ridiculous thing when u were on top of hunger....we ate some closed pizza....vegetable pizza..which we chose from the list of more than 100 pizza varieties....though it was ok... i decided to try a local beer.... the guy gave me some beer..i dint know whether it was a local one or some draft beer...but it tasted same... ;) .... then had some red wine ....from subrat... was quite stron it was some carbret or something...but was good....Now i got myself recharged and wanted to c the city by night... after some expedition in finding the bus towards the city ..we were travellin for abt 15 mins no sign of water...and finally we were through a long bridge surrounded with water and finally the bus halted at the last location..i was pretty excited to c as wht lies ahead...we had a initial glimpse of the canal....hmm just another water..wht was so gr8 abt it....i started loosin my patience a bit...Then we took a vaporetti...water taxi...

The vaporetti which we took was goin fully in water...man land i saw in distance but was pretty disappointed to find as where the main land existed..it was goin round and round...no sign of r destination the ...st marco square.. i started loosing my patience.....and finally after lot of stops it made to the shores of the piazza.....................................more later....i am feelin sleepy....
