The final leg

After a tiresome day of mountaineering we decided to do site seein the next day..In The last day also we dint ve r bath and we were wonderin whether we can take bath in ABBI falls ...It was about 10 km from the place where we staid...On our way saddy was really enthusiastic askin the direction even if it was a straight road(kiddin)....We finally reachd the spot ..gosh it was quite a watefall but we could not take bath as it was a dangerous spot and there was no place to take bath..So we gave up the decision and there we wonderd whther we could take bath...



Our next stop was at Nisargadhama..a gr8 place where kauveri's tributary flows..The river was juz knee high deep and there we 13 of us jumpd into the roarin water...The river bed had lot of rocks..but it dint stop us frm playin...Yup we strtd 2 play with a soft ball..7 on one side and 6 on other..We made 2 goal posts similar 2 foot ball stuff but we were playin by throwin the ball..

Our team ended up in the loosin side...but the each and every goal tht we put..we strtd to do indian hug...together..man it was cool while the other team was shakin their butts if they goald it..We were in water for abt 2 to 2 and a half hrs after which we decided to close it...

Outside there was a deer park..where the locals were doin the most vicious thing tht we saw..they were pullin the hair of deers..and one son of bitch spit in a deers mouth..Man are these guys civilised..man i wonder how people are like this..Then we had a small elephant ride ..which we felt tht the elephant must ve been a pity..we really regretted it....After then we were on our way to Tibet...

Wht Tibet?Yeah man..we were goin to kushal nagar ..the tibetian settlement which had a big monastery..Ever since i read this novel calld Timeline i wanted to have a peep at the monasteries..and finally got one...

It was a modern one with splendid architecture..The front tower was awesome ..gold plated..Around the tower there were lots of houses for the desciples..Man it was like a township..u can compare it with a agraharam but a modern,buddhist craft..THe monks were not like as wht we thought ..they were havin remodelled Pulsar bikes and were maulin on it..We had a first peep at a small room which had housed a lot of statues from buddha to many..The door was locked ..i thought tht was it the end..since it was mid day..i thought they had closed it down....but it wasnt as i had expected.....



We went to one more hall ..which housed three magnificient sculptures of buddha and some other saints..The statues were more than 20 feet carved with copper containin relics...We were amazed by the structure and were totally surprised..The paintings on the wall was also good ..with lot of carvings around..Man after havin enough week end we were opn r way back to b'lore...



The party did not stop here..There cannot be a dinner without desserts..and we had anthakshari,dumb chared durin our return..splendid titles like jatti kkul mohini ...etc where playd on...man ..the week end is oer..with memories lingerin...

The beginnin of the fellowship of thadiyendamol(In malayalam it means gundu ennudaya ponnu.... thadi enda mol)...I had a good sleep in the van the previous night and when i woke up i saw coffee plantations everywhere...I strtd 2 c em and found tht they were everywhere with spices twinin around some trees...Kalaila penduttu ,kullikakama ,kaaka pee la kulikkalam nu nenachu ponom...anaal first trekkin ...towards the highest peak of coorg...I again fell asleep on the way...i tried not to ..do but enjoy the lush green coffee plantations but in vain...u know only god can stop me...There finally we reachd some palace ...it was like a mediocre home..not a fascinatin place i suppose...Its outer view was not so invitin so decided to do away with it..

We aligheted from the van towards our tomb(hopefully not so)..as we came back in full pieces.. The captain muthu ..navigatin the place makin it feasible for us to follow..He's taken pains in gettin so much of knowledge abt the places..thnx to internet...

The journey strted not as usual ..it was not a gravel but a hard bound road...man quite unbelievable tht 2 in karnataka..We stuffed the bags with food water tons of snacks and were swindlin with carryin weight on our backs...We hardly managed to go abt 1 km...where we felt it was too much and everybody gave up..sittin on the road..We wondered where will this journey proceed to...Gettin our wits and energy back we continued again...Finally the roa abruptly ended and we were climbin the hilly patches..We went abt a km further where we were torn between 2 paths..We were confusd in decidin ...(in fact muthu anna was the one thinkin abt it)while we were makin merry takin fotos...the valley below was awesome with barren rocks in few places and greenery around...We took the right ...wrong ..roundabout path..and finally we were in a play ground...a small one with a volleyball court...
It was barren and there some peak climbd in front of us ..we thought it was the misty mountains..but we were wrong...we were gazin abt seein only peaks thinkin as which one we were 2 explore...and so decided to move on...


With some small stream...flowin..not exactly a stream but some spring water gushin in some places the road moved windingly and narrowly...We were stuck on the path with a mandaiodu...of some cow or somethin and took fotos of it...

The never endin journey continued and we pleadin to stop and take rest as the path ne'er ended...Muthu,Ekanth were cool climbers and were movin quite fast..me at the back not much experiencd along with rock dude,Rajkumar..were makin it slowly..The other guys were in between us...

We finally took some rest under the shades of trees and were restin for abt 10 mins..The wind blowin ..mind blowin..people danglin from trees..man it was a welcome sight...After takin enough rest we were again on our way...Pointin to the next hillock..which we thought as it was the one...We were ascendin in between trees which made me feel as if we were in amazon ..with trees around everywhere ..a tropical forest..Things strtd rollin pretty smoothly for us as we were takin rest at every possibly moment..especially me..got to pick up energy man..

The time moved infinitely ..some one told tht we ll be takin rest at an exponential time...i think we did tht..we were movin like ants gaspin for air at each and every moment...Then the final 1 km i suppose lay in front of us..The path was rugged and very creepy...with wind blowin everybody were lookin for some grasp...until there came another adventure 4 some of r chaps...They were visited by wild bees which were juz above their head...they calld for us and ducked their head coverin themselves with thundhu...doin all things so tht they cannot be heard...and vola in couple of secs..the bees were on their way..and we were makin it......makin..makin...finally reachd the pinacle..

We were on top of the World....man we did it...We were relinquishin the nature at the most and ne'er felt like comin down...There were few foreigners who were the others to climb the steep mountain..Man we made it....We decided 2 take some rest and had a pretty lunch ..awesome man...at this heights we were at r heights..We felt the power of nature and the pain can make u gain...

Whts pain?Pain is pleasure ..if there is no pain there is no pleasure ..this is true for everythin..unless u overcome pain ..world canot be enjoyed...


The climbin took us abt 3 and a half hrs...was a worthwile...Finally we decided to descend..every few meters tht we steppd down we gazed back again seein the hillock wondering whether we climbd it ...The more down we went we were amazed by the magnificience of the mountain...Our legs were sore..wantin for break...to rest prayin every moment tht the van muz be nearby ..but nonetheless...we MADE IT............

The journey begins-Part One

Last week end was a cracker..Me f*ked up for some days wantd a brk and finally after some hiccups decided to make it to the coorg...man awesome trip with one hell of a trekking...The most memorable trip i ve experiencd so far...The journey to the pinacle cannot be written in small pieces and requires a lot to be mentiond... Since there is lot of things to describe ..i will start from the trivial excitin experiences tht we had endured in search of relief and a multifaceted pleasure

Day 0

The eve of travel with the adams in search of some apples..but not satanic ones tht r filld with contempt and miseries but with compassion,passion and freedom.....

The dusk had strtd in blore and the traffic was as usual roarin u might say..the one in blore..Me got out of this so calld office in search of peace..which u cant get here...It all began at 9:00 PM when i reachd SAP's house and with a dilemma as where to keep the bike...finally decided to keep it at the abode of IBM..man a bit relievd feelin tht my kid is in a securd place..One down..Many to go..At midnight around 10 PM we were walkin in bannerghatta road towards Udipi garden to meet the connoisiuers of mountain.. Saddy(Sathish) and vijay (of trilogy) were approachin us with two covers packd with snacks which seemd to last for several days...but not exactly..as u might c as it progresses...The traveller had arrived on time and we were on it ...strtin towards coorg..the endless journey begins

CountDown Begins

Man the countdown begins...It all strted at the speed of 70 KM and then then the speed was undeniably good...Me strtd doin things to stabilise it ..But the vehicle accelerator was stuck and it was speeding at an abysmal speed...Me strugglin with controlling it man ..it was a hazardous task...I kept on throttlin it and my vehicle was man unstabilisin..until i calld it the day I decided to remodel it by strengthenin the parts...givin them enough friction and now the vehicle not much has shaped very well and is on the verge of controllin...I could not belive it a fortnight i was doin at 80 to 81 k's now man my techniques has worked has reduced to 78.8 km....Man the control has been recoverd ...bit by bit i ll be strtin to ride a ducati.....Man cant wait for tht day...

History repeats

Man life is funny..one day u ll be there studyin and the next day workin....some time ago my dad was askin me 2 study in engg..but now the reverse is happenin..as i am workin nd my dad has strtd to learn for writin some exams..I get the universe tumblin around when this is happenin...coz u know why ...The history repeats...I mean accordin to the nature everythin is a cycle and i suppose this will happen with the rest of the world...coz these r the rules of the nature..

Today one funny thing happnd..i was wonderin abt some questions and was suddenly struck up with this qn...thts some time ago in office we use one thing tht was mandatory and we cannot be with it but now tht thing has become deprecated especially for the software engineers...coz they are of less use now...D u know wht tht thing is ..it's the



There used to be one sayin... ie

"The pen is mightier than the sword"

But now a days the least used thing is this pen...and now it must be retold tht

"The keyboard is mightier than the sword"


But it can be said tht...
"The sword can destroy the keyboard"

So wht is the conclusion...u gotta decide.... I feel the handwritin is a craft and it's ur mind writin and i feel tht it must be preserved...so tht everyone can express their thoughts....Finally i would say...

"O Mighty save the mightier one"

Technical blunders

A day of blunders...Today a saturday was supposed to be at home ..but due to some work available i was asked to come to the office...I woke up late and was in a dilemma whether to come or not ..and picked up the 4 FC4 cd's and was on the way to the office...



It all began with deleting the logical drives of Red hat 9.0...and when i rebooted the laptop it was bootin in grub command prompt..i forced it to boot from the cd..but it dint ..i was wonderin why this was happenin..got over the net to determine as wht command to give to boot in windows..but in vain...Finally after some tryin ..i calld up bala and askd him....He gave me one simple command...ie grub>chainloader --force(hd0,0)+1 grub>boot and vola..windows got booted ..... Now it was time to check the cd..i saw as somethin was fishy with the cd...and again calld up bala..askin whether iso files can be used for bootin...


The blunder is tht i had copied the iso files as data and not the images tht r required for bootin up...Man day of blunders and here i am doin nothin but simply wastin time in office..its time to go home and relax ..and come pumped up on monday to install it once again ..lotta learnins to do....Me bein a linux newbie ..gotta get used to it...

Freak out man...

Last week end was a undeniably a good one...with some freakin out on monday..I was sick on tht day..i mean on monday..i hope people understand...This time guru had made it and we decided to hang around in the week end...fore that on sunday we decided to meet our uncle...

Man it was horrible..Eventhough his lectures were bundled with sense..i felt it contradictory to his lifestyle..which i feel it absurd..Its my point of view..it might differ frm person to person..After tht session in the evenin i was on my way to sriki's home to spend the night with guru,sriki....and co..

Next day i was on the way to get my bikes...which i had given for servicin..and then i strted along with guru to MG road on the prowl for books..I got this False Impression by Jeffrey Archer..Coz it was a new book by a renowned author..but after readin the reviews oer the net ..i felt it was not worthy..but however i ve got it and gotta read it...U can find most of the reviews in this website www.mouthshut.com .If u r gonna buy a book do read the reviews frm here..It has also got reviews on other products also...
